Good news for all the cricket fans all around the world. We are going to share the details about the announcement of the ICC short format Mega event. Today, the International Cricket Council confirmed the t20 world cup venue and schedule with the sides that have qualified directly for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020. Once again, Australia has the privilege to host this mega event and the final will be played at the historical Melbourn Cricket Ground (MCG).

Australia will begin their Women’s T20 World Cup title defense against India next year in a tournament the International Cricket Council (ICC) is hoping to conclude with a record attendance for a women’s sporting event. The tournament will start on 21 February and culminate at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 8 March which is also International Women’s Day.

“Whenever we host an event in Australia we know we can guarantee the one billion cricket fans around the world a great show,” ICC chief executive David Richardson said. The MCG has a capacity in excess of 100,000 people, although the ICC is hoping to attract more than 92,000.

For the first time, the women’s and men’s T20 World Cup will be held as standalone events in the same year, with the men’s tournament being staged from 18 October to 15 November, with the final also at the MCG.

T20  Men's World Cup is likely begun on Sun Oct 18, 2020, in Australia as per schedule FTP. ICC World T20 will be an international Tournament to be organized by Australia. It is likely to consist of 35 matches to be hosted by Australia in Oct-Nov 2020.

The Cricket T20 World Cup 2020 Tournament is a part of Future Tour Programs prepared by International Cricket Council (ICC). Australia will host this Tournament, likely to begin on October 18, 2020. While each group contains 6 teams. 4 teams are already qualified according to the ICC Top T20 ranking. The men’s tournament begins with a series of qualifying matches before Australia open the Super 12 section at the Sydney Cricket Ground against Pakistan on 24 October, while India meets South Africa at Perth Stadium.
